The inauguration took place on 22 December last.

The new area, which extends 150 metres and connects Manoel de Almeida Street to Dom Sebastião Leme Street, aims to allow all those who frequent it to contemplate the beauty of the Capibaribe River.

The second stage is characterised by being hybrid in terms of location, as it is half
as a platform over the river, supported by steel and concrete piles, and the rest is on the bank where one can find picnic areas, garden benches, among others.

It is also worth mentioning that on the river bank, after the operations were finished, around 400 native mangrove seedlings were planted. Remember that the first stage was completed and delivered to the public in December 2021 with leisure areas and "playground" for children.
