The project will be a space dedicated to education, culture, art, sport and leisure that will be a benchmark in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

Parque Oeste is being created in Inhoaíba on the west side of Rio de Janeiro with more than 234,000 square metres on Avenida Cesário de Melo.

 Inspired by the Madureira Mestre Monarco Park, Parque Oeste will have cultural and sports facilities. It will include an Olympic Village, a Knowledge Centre, multi-sports courts, an ecumenical space, a skate park, an indoor gym, a stage, as well as a school for 720 pupils and a Child Development Centre for around 30 children on a full-time basis.

The project also aims to create a green space that will be a leisure reference point for residents, qualifying the area and raising the quality of life in the region.
